Valentine’s Day is coming up…and that often means a LOT of candy.

While I love chocolate as much as anyone, including my kids, I still tend to favor non-candy Valentines for our kids to give to their friends at school. True, I try to limit our kids’ sugar, but it’s also close to my heart now as a #foodallergymom, that not every kid can have every treat. Thankfully, there aren’t eggs in many types of candy, so it’s not usually a MAJOR issue for us. But, we still try to give non-food treats for holidays whenever we can. I can only imagine how hard it is to have to say no to every single treat that comes home!

So, here’s another creative, fun FREE PRINTABLE Valentine option using one of our favorite books from Usborne Books & More—magic painting Valentine’s!

These are perfect for kids as young as two, but kids as old as six, seven, eight, even teens and adults like these! I don’t happen to have any pictures of older kids…because I don’t HAVE older kids yet. But trust me, I enjoy these, and I’m definitely a big kid. Ha!

The book itself is only $9.99 and there are 15 sheets per book. Our kids only have 12 kids in their class, so that made this very affordable. And since I’m giving you the FREE PRINTABLE HERE, it’s super affordable for you, too!

I tore each sheet out of the books (they are perforated) and rolled them up with the design on the outside so it looked prettier. Then I tied on the little tags with some string and ta-da! I added a little paintbrush to each one (I got a package of 10 for $1 at our grocery store actually, but there is a great deal on a pack of 24 here.)

SUPER EASY and very affordable. And VERY fun for toddlers and older kids, too. If your kids can write, there is plenty of space for them to write their names, but since Emma can’t yet, I’ll be adding hers for her. 🙂
