Well, we’re a week out from Valentine’s Day and you know what that means…I’m a week early getting Will’s Valentine’s ready. ;)Who am I?Just kidding. They aren’t ALL done. Just enough of them to take these pictures. (#reallife) We have fun choosing something that he’s really into and working together to DIY the little gifts for the kids in his class. I may feel differently about that when he has 30+ kids in his class someday, but for now, it’s only around 12 usually. So not a big deal. And it’s fun! (Plus, it’s sugar free and allergy friendly, which is something I also really appreciate!)I got this awesome set of dry-erase maze cards, from Usborne Books & More, because Will is super into mazes right now. He’s only four and these are rated for kids around 5 or 6, but I know with help reading the instructions and explaining what he needs to do, these will still be doable for him. Maybe with a little help. But I’m usually impressed by how fast he goes through a maze so I like that these will challenge him a bit. And we usually use stuff like this when we’re sitting at a restaurant or doctor’s office needing to pass the time so we could help him if needed.

One of our home goals for this year was to do a little revamp for our living room. Not a […]
For my 30th birthday this year, we wanted to have a big party and of course, I like a good theme, so since Melissa actually means “honeybee” in Greek, and Wyatt and I have special significance to bees as a symbol, a BEE-Day bash seemed like the perfect fit.Wyatt also had the amazing idea of doing a giant charcuterie spread for food. It’s my favorite date night or special occasion food and I already eat way more cheese than most people probably would ever expect or find normal. So, we bought Sam’s Club out of cheese (just kidding. Sort of), Wyatt baked a BUNCH of homemade sourdough (the BEST!), and we had some meats and my favorite accompaniments.
