We just got home last night from our Shipman Speed Show tour of Texas and even though there will be a full post later (with a video!) I wanted to give you a little preview tonight.

We went all the way to Galveston, Texas, with a few stops along the way, which is more than a 15 hour drive from our house, but those precious hours in the sun at the beach, and with each other on the road, were truly great.

Plus, we got to eat at a lot of awesome places, although we have to say Kansas City barbecue is better than Texas barbecue…

And, we got up WAY before sunrise on Thursday morning when we left…
