As I’ve mentioned a few times, we’re starting to work on planning our laundry room remodel. We’re not going to do a full renovation, but we’d like to add a few fancy features, like maybe a nice tile wall feature. So when PlumbTile reached out to us to see about introducing their website to our readers, we figured we’d check it out and share what we found.

For starters, there is a huge selection of products on the site. From tile to other fixtures like faucets, tubs, sinks, hardware, and more. Since we are considering purchasing tile, that’s where we focused our attention when exploring the site. And there is a lot of selection to look through!

We ended up settling on this one as our front runner for the laundry room. I like that it feels both classic, but also a little more funky than the basic subway tile we used in the kitchen. And, it goes well with the honeycomb shelves we made for the living room.

Can you imagine a nice “backsplash” of tile above the washing machine? (With some sort of cabinet revamp and shelf there as well…)

We compared this choice to similar options at other suppliers and we were pleasantly surprised by how affordable it would be to order this through PlumbTile and have it shipped. Shipping is free for the lower 48, but there may be separate handling charges depending on the product ordered. There also may be a minimum order charge for orders less than $50. They strongly recommend you call to speak to a customer service agent before ordering to ensure you get the absolute best deal.

They even have a price matching guarantee:

“We promise to do our best to meet or beat any website offering the same products at a lower price – offering you a better value on your purchase, including our first class service.”

Again, be sure to call to ensure you get the best price. And, to be fair, we haven’t actually ordered yet, but the people I’ve worked with so far have been very helpful. I expressed concern about ordering a breakable item (tile) online to have it shipped and was ensured that in the event of an incident, customer service would be happy to do their best to resolve the issue.
