I’ve got a bad case of spring fever going on today, and luckily, it’s sunny enough outside that I’m not going absolutely crazy thinking it will never, ever get here. Although I do with it would hurry up and decide to get warm and stay that way!
1. It’s opening day of baseball season. Go Cards! And Royals! (Yes—I’m a woman with a divided heart between my first and love in baseball and my family’s loyalty, plus Molina-the best catcher in the league, and the love for my city and the laid-back, fun baseball atmosphere here in KC. Still, a love for the sport and my ever-willingness to go to games of all kinds to feel the sun on my skin and smell the dirt and grass and hot dogs holds it all together, though! Who says I can’t like both?)
2. My little seedlings are bursting at the seams and begging the sun to stay out so they can soon be planted outside.
Just look at those sprouts!
Going crazy!
These little red pepper seed babies were the last to sprout, meaning I am now at 100% for seeds sprouting! Let’s hope this level of success continues when we move them outside…
Even the leggy zucchini plants are starting to get more leaves now!
Hubs and I love checking on these guys every day to see how much they’ve grown. It’s amazing!
3. Hubs and I are taking a little trip soon and the possibility of sticking my toes in some sand within the next week or so, even if it’s a little chilly, is making me yearn for the dog days of summer, although I’ll certainly settle for the puppy dog days of spring!
Are you ready for warm weather and springtime, too? Do you also have a divided heart when it comes to baseball, or some other beloved sport? Tell me about it here!
