We finally got around to adding the map pins from our Tennessee Trip, which we recapped here and here you guys. (Or you can just watch the video below!)
But, another fun way we can now recap and remember our trips is to add them to our map pinboard!
Today, I gathered the supplies needed for that project, which included the little flags I made before,
and the pins.
Along with some tape and scissors.
I used a teeny tiny piece of tape (that’s where the scissors come in) to attach the flag to the pin.
Then, it was time to put them in place!
This time, we went to a bunch of smaller cities that aren’t on our map, but it’s pretty easy to cross reference another map to find out where they should go. When we add pins like that, I like to write the name of the town so we don’t forget ten years from now.
Here’s how they look with the other pins for places we’ve been.
For a refresher on how we made this awesome travel map pinboard, you can revisit Hubs’ post on building it, and my post on finishing it up.
We’re doing really well in the middle of the country so far, but we have plenty of time to explore, still. And lots left to see, Shipman Speed Show style.
(I grew up with Williams Whirlwind Tours, so it’s fun we’ve carried on that tradition.)
Tell us about your recent trips! What have you seen or done? Where do you want to go next? How do you like to remember your trips, possibly with a map like ours?
Love a good road trip!!
For sure!
