Psst! Did you guys see the recap of our Texas Road Trip? Find the post here, and don’t forget to check out the video, which I am adding here again below for your convenience. 🙂
On our last day of vacation, we stayed in Plano, Texas, which happens to be only 5 minutes away from the Dallas Ikea location.
Of course, we had to go check it out, and even though we didn’t find a ton of stuff to buy that day (we aren’t in the market for a couch or a table or kitchen cabinets, although we might be someday!), we did find a few things to bring home with us. We also found a ton of things to try and DIY ourselves…and a ton more things I’m wishing we had the spare change to grab and add to our slowly-becoming furnished home. Either way, I’ve been daydreaming about all the possibilities since we left the store.
Two $10 metal flower pots, and two matching, smaller ones that can hang from our deck, or the front porch.
I love that these look way more expensive than they were!
We also bought some curtains for the guest room makeover, which is moving along at a snail pace… (or as I mistakenly said, “clam shell pace” while driving home through Oklahoma).
And three adorable little vases I have plans for…eventually.
Plus, my favorite find: this adorable metal bowl for our bedroom.
I love it!
Have you been to Ikea? Do you love it? What’s your favorite Ikea find?
I would love to go to an Ikea…I hear they will have one in KC soon. I love the bowl! Can’t wait to see what you do with all the “treasures”.
