Here’s a fun Friday morning question for you all—How many projects can you count in this picture? (No peeking down to my answers below!)

I’m seeing ten! Yup, that’s ten different projects.
- Build raised garden beds (and add dirt)
- Plant flower pots
- Weed existing beds
- Replace front door
- Replace basement doors
- Rake up all the dead leaves
- Add mulch
- Fix up crates for the guest bedroom project
- Get tomato cages (and other plants) ready
10. Bonus answers that would also have been accepted include “clean out garage,” “get rid of extra doors,” or “learn to never forget to take out the trash on Tuesdays.”
Yikes. See why the new chalkboard quote (seen here) is fitting for this spring?
Exciting though, right?
Did you get the right number of projects? What’s on your list for spring? Have you started stashing up supplies yet? Better yet, have you actually started working? Let me hear it!
Very cool! Do you think those crates would be hard to make yourself? Or were they inexpensive enough that they were worth it to just buy?
The crates would be easy enough to make I think (just slats of wood nailed together), but at $7.97 each, we think it was worth it to just buy them and save the time and effort. We’re still planning to sand/paint/stain them, so we’ll be saving the cost of buying something totally premade, but we won’t have the extra time of planning and building them.
