I just bought our hem tape at Wal-mart but all craft stores or online craft shops should also have it. Good luck!

what kind of paint did you use. Semi gloss or latex stain. I was guessing semi gloss since you used the same paint as used on the mantle?
We used whatever we had, which was semi-gloss.
