This weekend was a breath of fresh air. After a rough week of Will being sick while I struggled to meet work deadlines, I was ready for a little break. Not to mention, it’s been raining for weeks and weeks, which gave me a serious case of spring fever. We were able to spend time with friends, spend time outside in the garden, spend time playing with Will, spend some quality time with each other.
One of the biggest blessings most young families are given is the gift of hand-me-down furniture. It’s wonderful to help fill empty rooms and prevent everyone from having to sit on lawn chairs or canoes in the living room.
