Love is in the air over here at our place. It’s only two more days until Valentine’s Day and I’m itching to give Hubs the present I got for him. Hubs is also excited to give me the present he got me, but he can’t because the mailman hasn’t delivered it yet. And even if it was here, we’re going to wait for Thursday to exchange gifts, because what’s the fun in giving someone a present if you don’t have the awesome anticipation of waiting to open it?!
So, to help tide us over until then, we wanted to give you guys something for Valentine’s Day! Exciting, right? We chose things we love to give to you, and it’s a one-winner-take-all kind of prize, so good luck! Also, the giveaway closes in one week, so tell your friends and family-there’s plenty of time to enter!
Up for grabs is a $10 Starbucks gift card!
Note: The card you are getting doesn’t really look that cute because this image is from Starbucks.com and I didn’t know about this design until after I got the one I’m giving away.
I no longer drink caffeine, but when I did, Skinny Caramel Macchiatos were my drink of choice. Yum. Hubs still enjoys a good cup of joe every now and then, and we certainly know you do, too, right?
The winner will also receive this adorable OXO Good Cookie Spatula, which I think is just awesome and cute and cheery.
As well as this Ice Cream Scoop, which is super functional with the pointed tip and the trigger in the handle to help push the ice cream out.
We have both of these products and love them. Thus, we think you’ll love them, too! And you can’t beat getting an extra little Valentine’s Day present, right? Who doesn’t love getting a fun package of free stuff in the mail?!
So Happy (early) Valentine’s Day, everybody, and good luck! I hope you win!

My hubs asked for a framed replica of the constitution. He’s a dork for history and politics so he loves that kind of stuff. I made him promise it would be hung up in our office (which currently consists of a spare bedroom full of boxes, a futon and a desk). I love America and all but, it’s not really part of my vision for the living room 😉 I asked for chocolate and a monogrammed apron. I sort-of collect aprons but, not in a novelty way because I wear them everyday when I cook or clean. I’m excited to see what he picks for me.
That’s awesome! I agree about the living room/office placement, though! Good call!
I am giving my sweet sacrifice of love & time to my hubby. Haha lame, I know. But I just let him buy some power tools, so we’ll call that his gift…..even though they are benefitting me too. And I’ll probably cook him an awesome meal.
Totally not lame. Last year, we didn’t do any actual gifts, but this year, it just worked out that we had good ideas that weren’t too much money. 🙂
Also, I just threw away our junky ice cream scoop away last week that was falling apart! So, I’d love to win this new one!! 🙂
It’s awesome! Good luck!
Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s day together! 😀
Thank you!
I sent Glen a Mr. Beer brew kit! … And I’m supposedly getting a package from him in the next couple of days. 🙂 I love Valentine’s Day!
Awesome! Wyatt really wants a home brew kit so you’ll have to let me know how he likes that one. I told him he could get one if he starts posting more on here! 🙂 Enjoy your package!
Hoping for a nice dinner out somewhere, we usually don’t do presents.
Sounds good!
We’re just exchanging hugs & kisses this year. H is transitioning to a new job with unpredictable income and so we’re on a money diet.
I think that sounds like a great gift to give. We totally understand the concept of saving money! Enjoy your day!
I would love to have a quiet date night in with my husband 🙂
family74014 at gmail dot com
That sounds lovely! Hope it happens for you!
Conferences are on Valentine’s day… Boo. We are go to Alamo after for dinner and a movie though!
Fun! Enjoy the night, and try to look forward to that while stuck at school?
We’re getting a DVR.
Those are nice!
Omg you’re itching too?? That makes two of us, my husband is looking for it everywhere and every time he gets close to the area I start to panic!
Also! I got him a nice watch so he can keep time on track wish is very simple and nice 🙂
What a nice gift! I’m sure he’ll love it!
So fun!
I have Jane Austen night class on Thursday. But, I am making scones tomorrow for it and we will be talking about Sense and Sensibility. So that will be ok. Hoping to celebrate Friday night with Matt having a nice dinner at home and watching a romantic movie (I’m thinking Sense and Sensibility … then I could do my movie review for class on that one and be productive as well as have fun).
Sounds practical and fun! You’re so efficient. 🙂 Enjoy celebrating Jane Austen on Valentine’s Day!
Starbucks has a cute valentines day tumbler that I’ve had my eye on!
I got one of those a few years ago that I still love today! It was red with hearts…go figure for Valentine’s Day, I guess… ha!
I’d love a date night with my husband.
Me too!
We always celebrate because it is Johnny Valentine’s Birthday as well. He got my Valentines present today…wait ill you see it.
Can’t wait to see it! And yes, he does have a special birthday!
Hope I win!! I love Starbucks, cooking/baking, and I love your blog!
Thanks! And good luck!
Oh and I will be out of town from my husband on vday but when I get back we are hopefully going to the melting pot!
Melting Pot is so fun! Have a great time!
We plan to have a glass of wine (or 4) and a great meal. We don’t typically exchange gifts on holidays. I have set the bar really, really low on the frequency of gift giving with my wife so the smallest gift goes a long way. Under promise- over deliver.
Awesome! Seems like a pretty good strategy to keep your lady happy, I guess. 🙂 And I think it’s fine to just do dinner and wine! Nothing wrong with that at all!
We are in Texas. When we checked out of our hotel this morning the manager gave us each a heart shaped box of chocolates, made my day! My Valentine gift was the trip to South Texas. (warm weather)
That’s a great gift! Enjoy!
My husband kept on hiding chocolate for me! Found some in my purse, in the bed…so cute 🙂
Very fun! Glad you had a great time!
how exciting! now that I’m married, valentines is a different holiday:)
I agree. We prefer Valentine’s Day now that we’re married. No drama for big, special, public shows of affection and all the attention can go on just spending quality time together!
All my husband and I wanted for Valentines Day was a date night! Thankfully we got it! 🙂 With having kiddos in the mix now, it’s always a plus for the marriage to spend some time alone together without the kiddos. We had great conversation over a great meal. 🙂
Glad you got your date night! That sounds like a fantastic date night!
I love coffee. And ice cream. And cookies. This would be so fun to win 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day!
Good luck!
Valentine’s is my birthday, so usually I’m more excited about the birthday part…and this year, I was reeeaaaally excited to get some new nightstands. They match! I know as a just-out-of-college kid, it’s hard to get any furniture that wasn’t from my parents house or on the side of the road, but I was very excited about these.
So exciting!! Glad you like your new nightstands! But I also like finding things on the side of the road…even though it doesn’t happen too often! Happy belated birthday, and happy furniture shopping!
I got flowers
Pretty! How nice!
I haven’t had Starbucks in several months and could go for a caramel macchiato right now!
Amen!!
