Hello, friends!
It’s been a long time since we shared our home here with you. (We’ve been hanging out over on Instagram though!) So let’s do a quick check in.
We are still here in our home and while we have had quite the year, we are working to get back in the groove with projects. Things that have happened since we’ve last checked in here include:
- our car getting stolen and then recovered (but we still don’t have it back from the repair shop almost 6 months later)
- a company transition with Wyatt’s job
- a shift in my work/clients
- growing a garden without having to redo the beds for the first time in a long time (finally!)
- our kids enrolling in new sports programs
- the death of loved ones and friends moving away
- traveling to Disney World with our kids
- traveling to the Texas beach with family
- a contractor defrauding us out of a LOT of money and leaving us with a lot of stress and no deck
- starting to build the deck ourselves
- our youngest starting kindergarten
- our oldest testing for and starting an advanced/gifted educational program
- finally moving Em into her big girl bed and starting her room revamp
- hitting the 12 year mark on our marriage which means 11 years in this home!
- and countless other big and small moments and changes.
I’m working through some plans for how we’ll be able to connect with you all more and serve our readers better in the future, but for now, I’m going to start by blogging some past projects, perhaps starting up an email newsletter with some more special content (is this something you’d read??!)
