I shared my messy office with you last week and hinted I was working on redecorating a bit.

Messy Office 5

As part of that process, I painted up this garage sale frame I picked up for 50 cents:

It went from red to–you guessed it–yellow.

And then I added this print, you might recognize it from our sidebar over there —>

Yellow Frame 2

I had a free 11×14 print from Shutterfly a few months ago and I thought this one was pretty great so I might someday want to frame it. Turns out, my office turned out to the be the perfect place, at least for now.

It got grouped with the yellow frame from our entryway…

and with the FRIENDS frame Hubs found at our local thrift shop.

Now they are all together and happy, along with a few additional finds I salvaged from my stack of frames that can be used and reused in various ways in various projects as needed.

And let this serve as your friendly reminder to always keep your eye open for frames at garage sales, and coupons for free prints…you never know when you’ll want one, and you cant beat spending 50 cents on a fun piece of artwork for a room!

What’s been making you happy lately? Having any fun with frames or freebies? Let’s hear it!
