Yes, it’s cold out. Yes, they’re still expecting us to get a bunch of snow tomorrow. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t have any fun inside, right?

An example of that fun is a new little side project I’ve taken on–being a volunteer featured blogger for another blog! It’s nothing major, and not even DIY related, but you all know I love a good bargain, so this was right up my alley. Yup, I’m going to be blogging about fun clothing finds I score at our Kansas City thrift stores!

Recently, Hubs and I hit up our local thrift stores to find some fun bargains, so I took the opportunity to do some clothes shopping on behalf of my new little project.

So, if you’re in the mood for a little additional reading material tonight, or you just want to see awkward photos of me posing with my “fashionable finds” and trying to sound like I know what I’m talking about when it comes to trends, check out my post for the Kansas City area Salvation Army stores on finding some fun winter clothing at thrift stores!

If you do go check out the post, I’d love to have your thoughts and suggestions on how to not be so awkward in photographs! I’m certainly NOT a model!
