I wanted to share a little bit of our garden excitement with you guys today. We have blooms everywhere!

Just check out all those yellow zucchini blossoms!

But we’re most excited about our asparagus!

Look at all those sprouts! We know we won’t really have a harvest this year, but all this growth is making us pretty excited for next spring!

How is your garden growing? I’d love to hear about it or see pictures!

6 Thoughts on “Bringing Home the Blooms”

  • I really want to do asparagus, but hate to wait three years to have a good harvest. Good luck. Maybe we will try it next year.

    • Yea, it’s exciting because we planted 2-year old roots (found at any greenhouse–Walmart, Home Depot, etc.) and they looked all dead and dormant, but now they are growing! It says we should be able to harvest next year, so we’re excited! I say go for it! Even now should be good, really, I’d say!

  • Hubby was putting a sprinkler in the garden this week. He caved and bought asparagus. I guess we are jumping on the bandwagon.
