You guys know that I have a bit of a pillow problem (in that I love throw pillows and want to buy more all the time) and that I love birds (like our Love Dove).

Well, it looks like I may have another fun(?) cute(?) little obsession: fruit.

See, remember when Hubs and I found this adorable little pear during our Thrift Shop Challenge shopping trip?

Well, I’ve been loving it up on the mantle. And then on Saturday, during a trip to Gordman’s to find some new work clothes for Hubs, I found an apple.

Not just any apple, you guys. A yellow, ceramic, plump and happy apple that was calling out to me in all the right ways.

Plus, she was marked at just $3, with an extra 33% off on top of that!

In short, it was just meant to be.

She looks so cute next to the pear.

For now, Allie the Apple is living next to Stevie the TV.

But, I have a feeling, I’ll enjoy moving her around the house. She may move to the kitchen, or the mantle, or the bedroom, or my office…

In the meantime, I’ll try to keep from buying any more pillows, or birds…or inedible apples and pears…well, at least I won’t go looking for any more. If the right one finds me, however, it might be a different story.
